The Morning Boring

I wake up in the day
And I suppose its okay
But when the sun goes down
We all hit the town

I’ll buy some new gear
And some bottles of beer
Go, Polish my shoes
And change my clothes
Then I’ll Iron my stuff
Give my hair a brush
Grab a bite to eat
Check I’m lookin’ neat
Wait around for my mates
Drink while I wait
Down glasses of wine
While I fill in the time
Meet a few friends
Down a few mixed blends
Leave the house about eight
There’s not a moment to waste

It so boring in the morning
I’m waiting for the evening
It’s so Boring in the morning.
Roll, roll on to the evening.

Before we go to the club
We’ll stop off at the pub
Get in a few rounds
Listen to quality sounds
Buy a couple of shots
Then down the lot
Go talk to some bird
Whilst Slurring my words
Go play some pool
Trying to look cool
Wonder round in a daze
And Dance in a craze
Then Stagger around
Loose my friends in the crowd
Chat to the barmaid
Attempt to get laid

Oh it’s boring in the morning
I’m waiting for the evening
Oh it’s boring in the morning
Roll, roll on to the evening.

I don’t really care for the day
Things aren’t really going my way
I need a way to forget
And going outs a safe bet

It’s half past one
And I’m really, really gone
Finding it hard to stand
But still got a drink in my hand
I’ve vodka down my sleeve
And on my breath when I breathe
I dance for a while
Till I’m feeling vile
Try to rush to the loo
Just before I spew
I’m sick over some man
With a bad suntan
He pushes me around
And makes me fall down
Then the bouncer gets me on my feet
And throws me out into the street.

Oh it’s boring in the morning
I’m waiting for the evening
Oh it’s boring in the morning
Roll, roll on to the evening.

I don’t really care for the day
Things aren’t really going my way
I need a way to forget
And going outs a safe bet
It’s boring in the morning
I’ve only got the evening
