Out Tonight?

With bottles in hand, we sit in a friends room
The stereo loud, to music with no tune
Downing shots, intoxicated liquor in a mix
Please tell me there’s more than this

Then to an overcrowded, noisy bar.
Where the drinks and decibels have gone too far
Trying to find a toilet seat not doused in piss
Please tell me there’s more than this

Later twenty pounds worth of drink
Will be thrown back in the kitchen sink
Getting to bed sometime just before six
Please tell me there’s more than this

Awake in the afternoon feeling like shit
My clothes are all covered in sick and spit
Everyone thought last night was bliss
Lord, I hope there’s more than this.
